Hello from Elra Park.
I´ve been busy due to real life affairs , but finally teams arrived yesterday at the circuit.
There´s a comunication breakdown whith DMS Racing and has no car chosen.
After discusing, Race Direction agree that taking out of the race the team was not a good solution, perhaps the team it´s on travel somewhere whithout wi fi or ansomething else was happened. So the dice gods will decide, after a dice throw the race entries are:
The Oregon Donors-#99
T-county Lug Nuts-#45
Downundathunda-#42
Slothead racing-#29
DMS racing-#48
CAT racing -#24
D&D Motors-#9
Racing Bandit- #88
Being the cars unused for some time, teams found that put it at race condition was a more time consuming affair than expected, so teams asked for a little time to tune the car properly, so qualifying was delaying, it will be done as soon as possible during the week end so we ask spectators and fans to have a little patience.
Some teams know the track well, because are taking part at the SRS Series, for the ones that never race here just say Elra Park it´s a small 2 lanes circuit, classic Scaley track (some , more than 40 years old) so it´s quite narrow and bumpy somewhere.
Both lanes aren´t equal but due to use some R1 curves that means you must brake hard on inner lane, times are quite similar on each lane, has also an operating pit box entrance and Carrera lap timer.
Scenery it´s removable so the track it´s stored behind a closet unseen when not in use (sometimes the studio it´s used for other things).
Put the track ready to use it´s about ten minutes.
Althought being a modest track a lot of fun action was there during last years!
