I'm a Ford guy and really thought about taking the Model A, but the Mercury Cougar was just about my favorite car ever so I chose the Mercury Capri. I really want to see the Model A take it to the Ferrari 512. This could be the sweetest outcome for Ford since sweeping Le Mans in 1966.

Big hopes for a great race with a lot of American iron represented on the podium.

Teams arrived to Sicily, Oregon Donors and Dave´s Dollies just received as local heroes,
Almost the entire population being Ferrari fans!

Teams began to prepere their cars and some tests has been done.

Since Ford was the parent company of the Mercury division, Slothead Racing knows its Capri is derived from the best engineering on the planet. That said, we acknowledge corporate executives could strongly suggest we not do anything that might hinder the Model A on its way to a top of the podium finish.
