Harry provided some rules that I'm totally in agreement with so here we go. I will leave it up to the majority vote as to whether or not there should be any points for builds and or "points" awarded. I can go either way on that. Please, please, please if we do go with points remember that this is primarily for fun and if you are going to get crazy about where you car finishes please don't bother to enter....

Rules:

Motors:

Original NC-1
MT-1
H&R Jack Rabbit
BWA "clone"

That should be good enough variety. I think anyone who is interested in this class should easily be able to acquire any of those. All except original NINCO are easy to find and affordable.

No other motor types allowed.

Chassis: OPEN Examples: Stock, Resin, Brass, Slot Classic (or whatever name you like to call it) Hand Carved from walnut or popsicles.

Wheels: OPEN Examples: Stock, Hand made, SCC C.B. Design, BWA

Tires: Stock, PGT, SCC Supertires, Jelclaws, Maxxtrac, Tiny Motors, IndyGrips, Ortmann, K&D. NO FOAMS
That should be enough variety.

Gears/Axles/Bushings/Guide/Braid/Leadwire: OPEN

Body: Stock NINCO, Any Custom Resin - No Lexan/Clear

Body Mods: - Hard top or hair in the breeze Remove or add bumpers ok. Body or chassis may not drag the track.
Fender Flares very cool. Try to limit the width to 60MM at the widest. Tires to stay flush or slightly inside body flares.

I have an excellent example of a car with flares. It is 59.50MM wide. Any wider and we are really taking away from the car.

Interior: Yes please, and a driver would look real nice too. Scarf flapping in the wind gets bonus points.

No weight limit.

This is a FUN RUN PROXY. We all win by modeling a classic and learning from each other.

The rules are fine with me. I found a nifty 1951 version of the car that I'm going to try to do.

Okay, I think we are a go. So far, this is the list of entrants:

1. Jeremy
2. Harry
3. Me (Paul)
4. Waytomuch
5. Kidvoltage
6. Shotgundrg
7. John (Jmsh54)
8. GTI
9. Namvet
10. BigWormRacing63 (Donald)
11. Radtad (Ray)
12. Biggie (maybe)?
13. Ckouba (Chris) (Host)

We only have one confirmed host (Kidvoltage). He is located in Oregon. I'd love to get someone in the Midwest and someone on the Eastcoast to play host as well.

I have four of these going, so I need to hear a deadline soon. I'll set up a schedule for myself.

Okay,

I think May 13th will be the last day to get the cars in the mail and we should look to finish up by the last week of June if we have 3 locations (we only have 1 confirmed).

Does a host track have to be wood? Or is a Carrera track ok? Regards, John

More than fine for my heaps.

I'll let Paul give any details on what he wants for track reports. usually a simple "round robin" of running them in a selected lane for a set number of laps. Say 10. Then record the fastest lap. At the end of that you can tally them all up and see who took the honors.

It is nice though to have a camera to take a few photos. You can email them to me if you need help with hosting/posting. NEVER MIND...haha, you have THAT track...I remember this one. What a gem

Send me your address in a PM or email sir please, and I will mail you out an MT-1 for you to try and keep.

Hmmm.... Don't think I can get something to you in time. Got a 356, but I've not had it anywhere near the track. But, I'll keep an eye on what you guys are up to.

You might consider adding the Ninco NC8 to the motor list. It's the currently available replacement to the NC1.

I was sanding today and broke the wheel pants right off the coupe. Starting over tomorrow.

I love those old tubs! I have a track and would enjoy hosting if you're still in need. My track is a 65 foot wood 3 lane non-mag braid track with a Pyramid 26K power supply. Do hosts have to enter a car also? Let me know . . .
