Something to watch out for- The front axle wasn't spinning freely on mine, so I swapped the lead wires as Harry did in the review. Still, it just wasn't turning enough. Then I noticed that the sprung suspension was pushing the axle down on to the reinforcements that extend behind the guide. The axle was contacting in the two places that I point to in this photo:

Here you can clearly make out the axle resting on these reinforcements:

A little sanding, and the axle now spins as it should. If you have an emery board or some sanding sticks handy, I suggest taking a look at this point in your own Lancias.
