Having trouble finding the thread showing a narrowed Monogram chassis how it was done to fit under a zipper top, or i think it was a Monogram may have been a Carrera, Any body know were I can find it. Thanks Hillbilly :? :? :?

I don`t recall anyone narowing the chassis in any way other than trimming the sides to fit under the body. Possibly if you describe the combo your attempting to construct, someone may have some insight on the process.

If I remember correctly white plastistuct tubing was used in the process to hold the axle in place. Seems like it was a sidewinder with slot it gears and axle, I was talking with Sadco Racing (Steve) yesterday he remember it to, but he could not find it either. Hillbilly

I`ve been through all of the Zipper posts in this, and the scratch-builders forum thread. I see nothing related to this kind of chassis modification.. Maybe it was another type of car that was being built ? You are getting up in age there buddy... just sayin :whistle:

Your right must be an age thing they say the mind is the second thing to start going, The first is your trigger finger I cant keep a car on the track anymore either, and I'm just a little older than you. and I've been this way for a while so see what you got to look forward to. Don't think I'm going to make this deadline. First there was the 2 week delay with one decal maker falling through, and finding another decal maker to do them. Then this week we got the cat spayed and find out that we're expected to monitor her 24/7 for 10 days straight to make sure she doesn't rip out her stitches. (The way she occasionally flips out psycho-wacko while wearing the cone means we can't leave her unattended even with the cone on.) I don't recall this concern with any of my previous 4 cats at all. :think: :roll: Anyhow, I'm very worn out.
