If they were doing it as a secondary type offering, I would like it enough, but the long, sexy, sleek lines of Jaguar (E-Type, Mark IX, other saloon cars, etc) are not represented by the bobtailed, AM grilled, Mazda-looking thing. Its like the nightmarish the VW Beetle substitute (front-engined, liquid cooled, front drive, hideously overpriced- why did they call it Beetle?), and the new Camaro. If its a totally different kind of car, why should it have a name on it that has earned its own respect? I think Jaguar needs to also keep offering cars that look like a Jag if they are going to sell this.
Have you seen the TV ad for this thing yet? There's some huge money being spent to try and make it seem exotic.
