That was a little less than 10 years before I was born, and was the beginning of a series of events that effected my life in a million ways. Without naming them all, I'll just say that the attack on Pearl Harbor changed my family from having little connection to the military to a series of wars, sacrifices, mournings and triumphs. December 7th, 1941 was a landmark for my family and our nation alike. I'll always remember it that way.
