Did a little detail work tonight. Probably won't get back on the body till the weekend. The front valence will be red instead of silver. Paint it when I do the sides. Didn't feel like getting the air brush out just for that tonight. Driver head tomorrow.

Thanks for the "Howdy" and "Welcome", I ordered all the parts this past weekend. Started playing around with a scratch built plastic rattle chassis, I'll have to wait for the body to arrive before I go any farther. Just havin fun.

Just ordered some more chassis parts for mine as the first set didn't work out, The body has the white and over coated with clear, Tonight the Heller decals go on. Oh I better paint on the black rubber around the window openings.

You're taking me back to my childhood Dave..
When I was 6 years old my Dad bought a brand new "Guac" base model Maverick 2 door.. 3 on the tree, dog dish caps..
I spent the next 4 years wondering what the heck happened to the T-bird convertible I was used to LOL..
At least he went to a 2 door Torino next :)

I've been pickin' away this afternoon.. and I routed another slot in the track while waiting for stuff to dry~



Tomorrow I'll get the chassis modified and put together..

Got the blue on. Couple dipstick moves not getting the tape down as you cans see. But, should wet sand out. Next day or two spray the red.
