LOL! Like I said - it was just first impressions - but my impressions of the motor running on the 144' commercial track are probably notably different than what they would be running on a much shorter course, with tighter turns and no glue residue. :)

Hoping to have more time and a "fully functional" car to test out next week - having the body on there where there is a higher center of gravity and more weight will most likely change my "perception" a bit. :)

(probably also didn't help that the other car I was practicing with was my "Spec Womp" car that uses a Plafit Rabbit motor which is more in the 25k range and it runs slightly shallower gearing at 9:26) :)

It will have a glue residue on it when the Mav's run on it.
To the best of my knowlesge, the track owner only glues the track (lightly in the corners) when we are running the JK 1/32 Formula 2 Indy cars there (every three weeks). The rest of the time it has mag cars running on it.

I have a Hawk in a proxy car that's out there right now. It was one of the allowable motors, but the drivers report that my car lacks power. I agree with the comments above, but if we all had them it wouldn't matter, and they are more affordable. Perhaps I should have used thinner brass for my chassis. Haha!

I have decided to go with gift certificates from SCC for the top the three finishers at the end. Rather than give any my junk away. :lol: Not sure on how much they will be yet. Depends on how much change I save. :D

So COY is the Car of Yesterday, and COT is the Car of Tomorrow, right? However the Car of Tomorrow is now really the Car of Yesterday, as a new car has replaced it (although not yet in slot cars).

So, should the COT really be the COY and the COY be the COYY, the Car of Yesterday's Yesterday? Can I make this any more confusing? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
