Well I ordered the slot classic and the package said that but received the pit stop. Got the slot classic coming as soon as SCC gets them in. So, I will not need one in the chassis kit.

I just went through this whole thread, now I need to go to bed. But first, wow, are you guys ever into this proxy. Custom built car, parts kit, designated colours, even T shirts. Twenty seven pages of posts and you haven't even built a car yet. This is really going to be an IROC to remember and be proud of, not to mention a record setting thread. :lol: :lol: :lol: I'm going to have to plan to buy one of those bodies from you Dave, that is if you will be making them for sale outside the proxy. Now I know why our Minis aren't done yet. No problem.

Retro Racer 44 - Keith, I am the newbie here and guess partly to blame for all the over the top enthusiasm. I drive a MINI R53 everyday I shoulda known better! Totally sorry about sending David down the rabbit hole into RSR land, but you have to admit, it is the beesknees.

This is my first proxy race build and joining the ranks of you seasoned racers will be fun and interesting. I don't have a gear set press, or puller. I don't want to mess the motor shaft up, what is involved doing this? Small vise and hard wood? I might have to ask you David to set my motor and rear axle up before shipping?

The cost of the kit - I'll try to figure it out somehow, donations to the decal designer? I am selling a Slot.it Porsche 911 GT1 EVO 98 Jever to help fund my RSR. Please PM me if interested.
