Nice. This is the first time I really had a chance at doing well in a proxy. I usually just make an interesting car for the pictures and let others run. I couldn't chicken out this time, and the car turned out really fast. What does that tell you about all the years I've been doing this? Somebody else determined the components for this thing, and I made a car that I'm actually optimistic about? Over 50 years, and I don't feel optimistic until someone else picks the bits and pieces for a scratch build... okay phooey! I'm in it, now!

Wow. I knew that sucker was quick on my track, I hoped it would do okay on other tracks, but winning is a shock. It has the peculiar nature of needing to warm up before it runs right, so I was relieved to see you were running the cars around before actually starting the heats. Thanks for everything you do, Dave. I had to stop watching and deal with family stuff before it was all done, but I got to see a lot. Looks like a lot of work and a lot of patience. Come to think of it, that's what you always do, casting, etc.
