HRW NASCAR Cup Proxy.. Cars Due Nov. 15th

I have still not actually entered this proxy even though I want to. I've had so much fun and learned so much from the Abecebarian Proxy that I wanted to apply that knowledge to another car. However, I'm worried about getting a car finished in time as I have an incredibly busy October ahead of me.

However, should I determine that I can find the time, I will do a fantasy livery. My question is this: How "realistic" does the fantasy livery have to be. Specifically, I'm thinking of doing a Gulf livery even though I doubt they'd ever actually sponsor a Nascar car. So thoughts before I order any decals?

And speaking of decals, I've seen that everyone recommends Pattos, but he is closed until October 12 and I don't want to push my timing that far. Any other decal sources that anyone can recommend?

I've decided to officially enter this proxy. Since I have every weekend tied up between now and the entry date, I'm going to have to compromise and just work on tuning the car and not do a fantasy livery. Therefore, can I temporarily reserve #45 and #31. I have both bodies arriving (hopefully) this week and will decide on which when I see them in person.

It's funny, I've never raced a car over 92 gms. But, this one is coming out nearer 100+g. Is the H&R motor heavier than others like a Scaley black stripe? I know that the full interior adds a lot of weight. I'm also finding that it takes more weight to give the rear end (with these 15x8 wheels) enough grip coming out of the corners. It's been a surprise so far...............

Ok, my car bodies arrived and my son decided that he liked the orange and black paint scheme best (it is almost Halloween after all). So I will be going with #31.
