OK, I'm in with a variation of the Earnhardt Jr. National Guard Chevy COT (I think I got the COT part right..........) It comes as #88 and I see that number's gone already, so I'll need to get some tips from Bibbster on how to strip and re-paint a NASCAR body; or, at least re-number it. I think that the due date is July 11th - right?

Sounds good Audi. Due date not set it stone yet may be a week or two later but not sooner. To strip the body you can soak it 91% alcohol for while. Then wash it with soap and water sand and prime.

Purchased my car last night from Dickie at SCC. We ran a 3 hour enduro that was a lot of fun.

Now I'm thinking about the 91% isopropyl alcohol bath for the body. I'm going to cruise Brian Patto's Place to see if I can fine a livery that's simple and that I like for this Chevy Impala COT car.

I would like #9 Dodge Dealers Dodge and #17 DeWalt Ford Taurus. Since this race is so far off I may have time to paint a Ford or Chevy sidewinder to make it a Dodge so could I also reserve #43?

Is the minimum chassis clearance really 0.062"? That's well over 1mm if my math is correct (25.4mm = 1 inch). So, 0.062" = 1.58mm.

Seems high to me..............

Sorry I snagged the #88. An easy fix would be to ask for 188 and add a one in front of the number.

The best way to check your clearance is to roll a piece of 1/16 piano wire under the car. If it hits anything, it's sitting too low. Usually this rule does not include the spur gear on a sidewinder as long as it doesn't rub on the track.
